Spring Pool Notes:

*Check your water level...heavy rains may mean you need to lower the water level to prevent liner floats.

*It's time to uncover your pool and do a complete check to make sure you are ready to swim as the weather warms up. Clean any debris out of the pool and make sure your chemicals are correct. As the weather warms, pools without proper chemicals will see algae blooms and green water. Don't forget to clean your cover well and put it away correctly in storage, so you can use it again next year.

* Speaking of chemicals...you've been thinking about changing to a salt water pool...now's the time to do it ...it will cut down on the amount of chemicals you need to buy this year. Also...chemicals left over from last year may have lost their potency...so you need fresh ones. Give us a call for an estimate on converting to a salt water pool. (706) 527-1952.

* Spring is also the time to add stabalizer to your pool. This chemical helps your clorine work easier in the hot summer months. Stabilizer will also help your salt water pool. It just helps keep the sun from burning your chlorine off as quickly.

* Salt Pools: Check your salt levels and add salt to make sure you are ready to make the chlorine as the weather warms up.

* Now is the time to order your new liner if you need one. You want your pool to be ready to use when the weather is warm. So call for an estimate now if your liner is in need of repair. We make sure your liner has a custom fit. (706)527-1952.

*Make sure you are back washing your filter each week. That way it can work more effectively. Rmember too to empty your skimmer basket to keep your water flow moving efficiently.

* The time for repairs is now...leaving the pool in ill repair will cost more in the long run when more repairs will be needed.

* Don't forget to get a couple of new suits...so you are ready to swim!
